The I-70B and F 1/2 Intersection Improvement Project in Clifton is across the street from Central Distributing Co., 3244 F 1/2 Road — near I-70 Exit 37.

Work will restart at the Hwy. I-70B and F 1/2 Road intersection, near the main I-70 Clifton Exit 37 on Monday, April 19.

The finishing work includes milling and paving, installing traffic loops, grinding, and final striping. Work should last a couple of weeks and is weather dependent.

The project kicked off in August of 2020. Improvements include the realignment of F 1/2 Road on the east side of I-70B to improve the traffic flow at the new traffic signal. The project has completed the extension of Smallwood Drive and a median island on F Road on the west leg of the existing traffic signal on I-70B. The completed upgrades aim to improve overall traffic operations. Speed limits will be reduced in the work zone.

Work on the intersection began Aug. 10, 2020. The improvements include the realignment of F 1/2 Road on the east side of I-70B to help traffic flow to a new traffic signal and improve overall traffic operations.
