Crews will soon shut down for the winter and resume in the spring to resurface the existing north and southbound lanes approaching the new intersection, and then the project will be officially complete.
Although the project won't be completed in its entirety until spring 2021, the road will be open and fully operational in a couple of weeks.

Crews have completed new turn lane paving and have poured concrete for curb and gutter, inlets, curb ramps, and a valley pan and have temporarily striped all the lanes and turn arrows to be opened to traffic over the winter.

The traffic signal work will be completed this week. The signal will be set to flashing this Thursday (Dec. 17, 2020), and it will remain that way over the weekend to prepare the public for the new signal. The traffic lights will be set and fully functional next week.

This week, crews are working on installing guardrails and road markers. They've also started seeding so that vegetation will start growing in the spring.
