A $264,507 contract has been approved for the Landfill Access Road Improvement Project. This exciting development will bring much-needed upgrades to the landfill access road, making it safer and more functional for those who use it.

The project consists of several key components, each aimed at improving the overall functionality and safety of the landfill access road. The first step in the process will be the removal and replacement of a section of the asphalt pavement. This will ensure the road surface is smooth and free of cracks or potholes.

In addition to the removal and replacement of the asphalt pavement, the project will also include the installation of concrete drain pans. These drain pans will improve the overall drainage of the road, reducing the risk of flooding and ensuring that the road stays safe to use even during periods of heavy rainfall.

The project will create a new gravel-surfaced parking area, providing a safe and convenient place for visitors to park their vehicles while they access the landfill.

By removing and relaying the asphalt pavement, providing concrete drain pans for improved drainage, and creating a new gravel-surfaced parking area, this project will help to ensure the continued safe and efficient operation of the landfill for years to come.
