Mesa County Commissioners proclaimed May 16 through May 22, 2021, as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week in Mesa County to recognize the vital public service and lifesaving care EMS professionals provide to those in need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
EMS providers serve as the safety net of Mesa County’s health care system. Oftentimes, access to quality pre-hospital emergency care can dramatically improve the survival and recovery rate of those who experience sudden illness or injury.
The citizens of Mesa County benefit daily from the knowledge and skills of these highly trained individuals.
