The Board of Mesa County Commissioners proclaimed the importance of St. Mary's Medical Center to our community and calls upon residents to join in the 125th celebration of St. Mary's Medical Center on May 22, 2021.
St. Mary's Medical Center was established by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth with Mesa County's first hospital on May 22, 1896.
For the past 125 years, St. Mary's Medical Center has grown to become the largest medical center between Denver and Salt Lake City, serving western Colorado and eastern Utah communities.
