Spring has sprung, and it's been a bustling season at the Mesa County Hazardous Waste Collection Facility.
The facility has been in service for 21 years and is one of only eight permanent household hazardous waste facilities in Colorado!
While you’re working on your honey-do list, swing by to check out their material reuse area to pick up free, partially used products like wood stain, pool chemicals, and weed killer. This popular program is just one of the many ways we can reduce our cumulative waste disposal.
Whether you’re moving in or away, remodeling or cleaning out your old shed, the Mesa County Hazardous Waste Collection Facility offers safe, easy disposal of household chemicals and electronic waste.
Items like cleaners, paints, lawn chemicals, automotive fluids, batteries, bulbs, and more are free to drop off every Thursday-Saturday, all year long. (E-waste is $0.65/lb).
