The I-70B and F.5 Intersection Improvement Project in Clifton is across the street from Central Distributing Co., 3244 F 1/2 Road — near I-70 Exit 37.

Mesa County Commissioners today approved a $3,087,071.59 agreement with United Companies for the I-70B and F.5 Intersection Improvement Project in Clifton, near I-70 Exit 37.

On Monday, July 20, Mesa County approved an agreement with United Companies for the I-70B and F.5 Intersection Improvement Project in Clifton.

The project includes an extension of Smallwood Drive and realignment of F 1/2 Road on the east side of I-70B to improve traffic flow to the new signal and the construction of a median island on F Road on the west leg of the existing traffic signal on I-70B.

The improvements at the I-70B Frontage Road and F 1/2 Road intersection, include a new traffic signal system and various road connection modifications.

The project aims to improve overall traffic operations. The anticipated completion date is at the end of October 2020.
