Support Local Buisnesses, Ride The Dash

Do the DASH – Special Event

Do the Dash – Friday, Sept. 6

In partnership with Colorado Mesa University, Downtown Grand Junction, and the Horizon Drive District, Mesa County is encouraging the community to support local businesses and ride the DASH around town.

Grab your friends and coworkers, check out local art, unwind after work for a social hour, and Do the DASH.

The first 100 people who ride the DASH between 5:00-7:00 p.m. to supporting business locations will receive special discounts from Cruisers Bar and the Colorado Mesa University Bookstore.

In addition, all DASHERS that visit the new CMU art gallery, 437CO Art Gallery, will be entered into a drawing to win a student art piece. 437CO will be launching a new exhibit on Friday, Sept. 6 as part of the monthly First Friday event Downtown Grand Junction. Ride the DASH and enjoy all that Downtown, Horizon Drive, and Colorado Mesa University have to offer.

Those who have never tried the DASH, it is a free bus service that operates along Route 1 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:15 p.m -12:15 a.m. The DASH route travels down Main Street, up 12th Street past the college, over to Horizon Drive, and the Grand Junction Regional Airport. This service operates on the same loop on a 30-minute frequency. For more information on the DASH visit https://downtowngj.org/.
