The Mesa County Commissioners adopted a proclamation today in public hearing to welcome judges from the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals visiting the Western Slope for the first time to hear oral arguments at Colorado Mesa University on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, based at the Byron White U.S. Courthouse in Denver, Colorado, encompasses Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah and Wyoming and portions of the Yellowstone National Park extending into Montana and Idaho.
Jeffrey Hurd, Attorney at Law, attended the public hearing to accept the proclamation on behalf of the judges. Hurd has been honored to help organize this historic event.
