Lori Parrott (State President of the National Society United States Daughters of 1812) accepted the proclamation presented by the Board of Mesa County Commissioners in public hearing.
The local chapter of the National Society of the United States Daughters of 1812 will be hosting a state conference and dedicating a memorial bench at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado on March 3, 2018.
