We all have a role in the safe disposal of hazardous waste

Hazardous waste such as batteries, cleaning supplies, and motor oils are harmful to people and the environment without proper disposal. On Feb. 14, Mesa County approved a $200,000 contract to ensure the safe and compliant disposal of hazardous waste.

Clean Harbors Environmental Services, LLC was awarded the contract with 40 years of experience in household hazardous waste management and the necessary resources to handle hazardous waste in Mesa County.
