Mesa County Department of Human Services is pleased to announce the hiring of Lindsay Bullock as its new Workforce Center director. Executive and Deputy DHS directors, Jill Calvert and Barbara Golden, respectively, had been serving as interim directors of the Workforce Center since former director Curtis Englehart’s departure in early July.
Bullock comes to the position with a wealth of knowledge of and experience in the agency. Her time with the Department of Human Services began in 2017 when she was an eligibility specialist. She quickly became an eligibility supervisor before moving over to the Workforce Center as the career development supervisor.
Before she came to the Department of Human Services, Bullock was a small business owner from 2009 to 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business from Colorado Mesa University.
"I am excited for the opportunity to serve as the next director of the Mesa County Workforce Center,” says Bullock. “I am passionate about the work that our agency does and I am honored to work with such an amazing team dedicated to supporting the community."
