Mesa County Election Director Brandi Bantz and Elections Manager Stephanie Wenholz were honored with the prestigious Michele M. Burton Excellence in Election Service award by the Colorado County Clerks Association.
This week, at the administrative public hearing on Aug.16, Mesa County Commissioners honored and recognized Bantz and Wenholz for their professionalism and dedication to conducting transparent elections.
Typically, the award is given to a single person once a year, but the Colorado County Clerks Association made an exception this year to honor the positive impact both Bantz and Wenholz made on Mesa County elections.
“Brandi Bantz, Stephanie Wenholz, and Mesa County Election Staff, we appreciate you for the high standard you hold yourselves to,” said Cody Davis, Chairman of the Mesa County Commissioners. “Team Mesa is proud to have you on our team.”
