Long Family Memorial Park Improvement Project is complete

Long Family Memorial Park

Parking lot improvements to increase parking capacity on the north side of Long Family Memorial Park, 3117 F Road, are complete.

Long Family Memorial Park is Mesa County’s regional park — it is home to six multipurpose sports fields, a softball field, and many other amenities.

The project included closing off the existing park entrance from F Road, constructing a new entry on Fledgefield Drive, and adding 21 additional parking spaces. The access is about 100 feet east of its old location.
