Roads are a critical part of the County's transportation system. They support economic development and improve the quality of life through the mobility of people and the efficient movement of goods.
Mesa County maintains approximately 1,400 miles of roads and over 200 bridges in the County's unincorporated areas outside cities and towns.
Mesa County aims to be a good steward of the County's road system by maintaining roads with the proper treatment, at the right time, in the right way, and with the funds available.
