On the evening of Sept. 21, community members wanting to acquire more in-depth knowledge on how local government works began the Inside Mesa County class. This four-week course gives an inside look into Mesa County's departments and budgets, including interactive presentations from elected officials and county departments as well as tours of several facilities.

On the opening night, attendees heard from Commissioners Cody Davis, Scott McInnis, Janet Rowland, and County Administrator Pete Baier.

The Board also concluded their countywide town hall meetings to inform and engage residents on county programs, services, and critical issues.
