The Patriot Guard joined local law enforcement and the Grand Junction Fire Department in honoring a local hero Thursday night. Brandon Smith was recently on active duty for the U.S. Army in South Korea when he died on a helicopter during a training exercise. He was escorted under this giant American flag. Citizens lined the streets to pay their respects. |
