Mesa County Commissioners and Administrator Pete Baier delivered the State of the County address on Monday, Feb. 10, during the Commissioner's administrative public hearing.
The latest economic indicators presented in the address show a slight improvement in the local economy.
"Our economy is showing signs of growth, and we remain cautiously optimistic. However, we are keeping a watchful eye by tracking economic trends and legislation," said Baier. " The Colorado State Legislature's decisions this legislative session may have huge impacts on our local economy."
"We will proceed with caution and will continue our commitment to providing essential services to our community through responsible fiscal practices as we move forward in the year," added Baier.
