Mesa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) Deputy Ralphie got to meet CJ! He’s a drug detection dog that works with the Western Colorado Drug Taskforce. Deputy Ralphie had a great time working with CJ but learned a valuable lesson—it’s not wise for elves to get too close, especially around lunchtime. 

Deputy Ralphie takes a look at some of the MCSO's newer technology in the forensics lab. Although, he much prefers the old school way of documenting and processing crime scenes.
Deputy Ralphie left MCSO deputies some cookies as a thank you for his time at the Mesa County Sheriff's Office. He's headed back to the North Pole. Thank you, Deputy Ralphie, for all of your help and your service—see you next year! Happy Holidays!

The Mesa County Organic Materials Composting Facility, 3071 Highway 50, offers an easy, free way to dispose of your (real/natural) tree after the holidays. Don't forget to remove lights, tinsel, ornaments and the stand from the tree before dropping off. Flocked or artificial trees are not eligible and will not be accepted. The trees will be processed for compost production on-site.
