| Mesa County Commissioners proclaimed April 28-29, 2018, as Sharefest Weekend in Mesa County. The Sharefest proclamation was presented to members of the Sharefest Steering Committee. Over 30 churches from different denominations in the Grand Valley have chosen to work together to cooperatively serve our community for Sharefest Weekend. Mesa County encourages all residents to participate by finding helpful ways to serve the community on Sharefest Weekend and throughout the year. |

| The Clifton Nature Park Clean Up in early April was sponsored by a crew from Collbran Job Corps. Staff and students cut tamarisk then Mesa County Noxious Weed and Pest Management treated them with herbicide. The tamarisk was loaded into trailers to take to the Mesa County Landfill because it is too salty to take to the composting facility. |
