Commissioners adopt a resolution supporting BLM headquarters to move to GJ

Mesa County Commissioners adopt a resolution in support of moving the headquarters of the Bureau of Land Management to Grand Junction, Colorado.

The Mesa County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution in support of moving the headquarters of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) from Washington, D.C. to Grand Junction.
The resolution states: "It is in the best interest of counties to have the people who manage our BLM lands, and who make the decisions concerning these lands, living within the communities with high percentages of BLM land."
