Mesa County Road and Bridge staff sets a grader at the Coffman Road shops, 971 Coffman Road in Whitewater.
The old grader was donated to the Road and Bridge department for restoration and to be used as decoration. It now sits at the entrance to the main shop area.
Mesa County Manager Donna Redd took a selfie with a special guest at the Mesa County Fair. This year's fair festivities concluded on Saturday, July 29. A very big thank you to all staff that worked incredibly hard to put on the fair!

Mesa County Commissioners are hosting a Community Coffee in Gateway to give residents an opportunity to talk with county officials. The session is open to the public to share their thoughts, ask questions, or just say "hi"!
Construction of the Mesa County Animal Services facility is on track, and we're anticipating opening in late November! This morning crews worked on the repair and installation of ventilation for the shelter.

This week installation of interior wall framing got underway. Progress, progress, progress!

Here is a volunteer opportunity with Grow Another Row. They need help harvesting 36,000 pounds of apples! Grow Another Row has partnered with many other organizations to form the Community Alliance for Education and Hunger Relief. The Community Alliance is based out of the CSU Western Colorado Research Center in Orchard Mesa. All of the fruit grown at the Research Center that is not needed for study is being harvested by volunteers and donated to hunger relief organizations.
