The goal of the project is to install a new hydraulically adequate crossing over Monument Canyon Wash while minimizing impacts to adjacent landowners, utilities, and natural habitats.
The current structure consists of four 72” diameter corrugated metal pipes, identified as a high-priority repair due to rust throughout and large holes at various locations.
The project will replace the failing pipes with four 96” reinforced concrete pipes. It will also include improvements to Canyon Creek Drive, such as widening the asphalt and shoulder along Canyon Creek Drive and all related roadwork, stormwater control, irrigation control, utility coordination, and soil disturbance mitigation.
