County OKs contract for shoulder work on South Broadway

The project aims to add a 6-foot shoulder on the north side of South Broadway between Rado Drive and Desert Hills Road, replace an existing Redlands water and power irrigation culvert, complete approximately 1000 feet of 8-foot sidewalk segments on the south side, and make intersection improvements to Spoon Court including a new pedestrian cross-walk and signage.

Mesa County and the City of Grand Junction will split the project costs evenly, and Mesa County will operate the project.
