During the Oct. 4 administrative public hearing, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved a $609,774.00 agreement with Sorter Construction, Inc. for the South Camp Shoulder Improvement Project.
The project is located in the Redlands near Monument Road. It will include the addition of a 5-foot shoulder on both sides of South Camp Road between Monument Road and Rimrock Road, the extension of two existing corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culverts, the replacement of an existing 10-foot wide concrete path, and refinement of the apron-entrance to an existing unimproved dirt parking lot.
