CoorsTek is expanding its facility with over $23 million of new equipment expected to help bring 20 new jobs to Mesa County. The installation of the equipment will happen through the remainder of 2022 and 2023. Colorado Revised Statute 30-11-123 allows counties to negotiate personal property tax incentives with any taxpayer who expands a business facility in the county for Mesa County's portion of any business personal property tax. These agreements can be up to 35 tax years, however, this agreement is for 12 tax years. To see the approval of this agreement during the Aug. 23 public hearing, click here (video timestamp 19:25). |
