The Lighthouse is located at Colorado Mesa University's campus. |
Here is how the program works — District 51 students facing suspension, expulsion, or the possibility of a truancy case filed against them will be referred to the Lighthouse Project on CMU's campus. They will be paired with a college student mentor who will serve as a role model to help guide the youth in the program while gaining experience as a mentor.
