The Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved a $189,308 agreement with KLJ Engineering LLC for the South Camp Shoulder Improvement Project between Rimrock Road and Monument Road in Glade Park.
The proposed improvements include the addition of five-foot-wide paved shoulders on both sides of South Camp Road for approximately 3,400 feet, three potential intersection improvements, including existing sidewalk relocation, and a recreational access improvement.
Mesa County received two proposals, and KLJ was awarded the project. Construction is expected to start in late summer.
