This year on Thursday, Oct. 28, the Criminal Justice Services Department (CJSD) participated in the Thunder Mountain Elementary trunk or treat event to foster collaboration with the community and help the school have a successful event.
To raise enough candy, CJSD had an internal team competition that was divided into five teams. They also used the Useful Public Service Program to raise candy for this event. In the end, they raised 652 pounds of candy!

The winning team raised 116 pounds of candy. Also, CJSD staff invited their families to participate.
