| Expect delays when entering the Mesa County Landfill Aug. 30-Sept 7. |
Maintenance on the in-ground, inbound truck scale at the Mesa County Landfill, 3071 Highway 50, will begin Monday, Aug. 30, and is expected to be completed by Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Crews will be rerouting all inbound traffic onto the landfill's prepass scale. Construction should not impact outbound traffic, but inbound traffic should expect delays.
As part of the scale’s maintenance, crews will apply protective paint to the new scale, and it needs a week to fully cure.
